Dental emergencies are serious issues that require immediate attention and care from a qualified dental professional. They can involve severe pain accompanied by broken or damaged teeth, bleeding gums and swelling or infection in the mouth. Common dental emergencies include toothaches, avulsed (knocked-out) teeth, cracked or fractured teeth, abscesses and TMJ disorders.
